In the strategic patient council, two patient representatives meets with medical and nursing managers regularly. The patient representatives address strategic topics to the council and the aim is also to exchange information about ongoing projects. The Strategic Council maps the level of existing patient involvement at operational level. The mapping resulted in a GAP analysis to identify areas of improvement in relation to the OECI standards for patient involvement.
