Abstract YO9
Case summary
Phyllodes tumors represents a rare entity of breast cancer account for less than 0.5% of breast cancers and present most commonly in women 45 to 49 years old. Histologically its characteristics range from benign through to malignant. Metastases are reported in less than 20%. We present a case of 23 years female who underwent mastectomy for high grade Phylloids tumor in her right breast a year back. The lumps in the breast are initially small around 20 mm, a measure that is rare in cases of philoid tumors. She presented with breathlessness and hemaptoe, proved to be metastatic to lung causing multiple large nodule in the right lower lobe of lung and multiple lytic lesion on vertebral bone.
