Abstract

The incidence of esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma (AEG) is increasing worldwide. Barrett's esophagus (BE) associated with dysplasia is the main risk factor for the development of cancer. This prospective study focuses on the surgical approach, perioperative chemotherapy and survival in patients with resectable locally advanced T3N1 (III C according to TNM Staging System) AEG type I.
