Abstract

The BMP signaling system plays a key role in development, morphogenesis and cancer. As observed for development, heterotypic cellular interactions also play an essential role in carcinogenesis. The aim of this study was to characterize the response of lung stromal fibroblasts to BMPs and their antagonists and investigate its potential role in human lung adenocarcinomas.
