So far, clinical factors have not been able to reliably predict which patient with malignant pleural mesothelioma may benefit from radical treatment approaches. We have investigated the possibility of using a microRNA expression signature as prognostic/predictive marker for patients undergoing extrapleural pneumonectomy (EPP).
